Something for everyone during the holidays!
During School Holidays we provide different cricket based development days. All of our sessions are designed to be first and foremost fun and enjoyable for all involved.
We aim to teach and reinforce cricket skills at an appropriate level, to assist in player development.
Boys and girls from year 1 to year 10 are welcome to attend and groups will be split on the day to ensure an appropriate level of challenge. Soft ball and hard ball cricketers are welcome.
Bookings are now being taken for our Cricket Development Day on Wednesday 27th May at Stourbridge Cricket Club. 10am - 3pm £28 or half day for younger children is 10am - 12pm £14.
Soft Ball Cricketers
For soft ball cricketers our development sessions are aimed at those not yet playing hard ball cricket and newcomers to the sport. There will be lots of fun games working on developing the basics of cricket. Lots of batting, catching, throwing and some bowling too.
Hard Ball Cricketers (1-2 seasons playing hard ball games)
For those new to hard ball or with just a season or two of hard ball experience, our development days will include lots of fun games and some work with a hard ball to develop skills and confidence. There will be some nets content too.
Hard Ball Cricketers (over 2 seasons playing hard ball games)
For those with two years or more experience playing hard ball cricket, the session will look at developing skills in more depth. There will be fun filled games and plenty of netting time plus some bowling machine time where possible.
High Performance
These days are for players from Year 7 and upwards, including adults. The content is aimed at players who have previous county age group experience, or they are currently playing regular adult cricket with their clubs. These camps will build on the basics of the game, with a focus on the skills that will take your game to the next level.
